Troubleshooting
"Max Connections Reached": Understanding Connection Limits
Quick answer
Each connection on your plan allows one stream at a time. If more devices try to play at once than your plan allows, you'll see a connection-limit error. Stop playback on another device, wait a minute, or upgrade to more connections.
The problem
- "Max connections reached"
- A stream stops when someone else starts watching
- Login works but channels won't play
Likely causes
- More simultaneous streams than your plan allows
- An app still playing in the background on another device
- A device that didn't close its stream properly
Step-by-step fixes
Work through these in order and test after each one.
1. Free up a connection
Stop playback on other devices and fully close the player app.
Wait 1–2 minutes for the session to release.
Try again.
2. Upgrade if you need more screens
Plans support 1 to 5 simultaneous connections.
Choose the number of people who will watch at the same time, not the number of devices you own.
Check that it's fixed
- Start playback on the device and confirm it plays for a few minutes.
