Quick answer
Roku does not offer reliable IPTV player apps for Xtream Codes or M3U playlists in its official channel store. You can mirror or cast from a phone or PC to a compatible Roku, but for a full experience we recommend adding a Firestick or Google TV device.
Limited support on this device: read the options below.
Roku devices are popular in the United States, but Roku's platform is closed and its official store does not carry the full-featured IPTV players our service is designed for. We would rather tell you that upfront than have you struggle.
There are two workable options: screen mirroring or casting from another device, or adding a low-cost streaming stick to the same TV.
What you need before you start
- A Roku streaming device or Roku TV on the same network as your phone or computer.
- A player installed on an Android phone, Windows PC or iPhone.
Supported login methods on Roku: Xtream Codes API, M3U playlist URL. What's the difference?
Recommended player apps for Roku
- Player on your phone or PC
For example IPTV Smarters Pro on Android, IPTVX on iPhone, or VLC on Windows.
Option 1: mirror or cast to Roku
Steps
On the Roku, go to Settings → System → Screen mirroring and set it to Prompt or Always allow.
Android/Windows: start screen mirroring (Smart View, Cast or Connect) and choose your Roku.
iPhone/iPad: on Roku models that support AirPlay, open Control Centre → Screen Mirroring and choose your Roku.
Start playback in your player on the phone or PC. The picture appears on your TV.

Option 2 (recommended): add a streaming stick
Plug a Fire TV Stick or Google TV device into a free HDMI port on the same TV.
Follow our Firestick or Android TV guide.
Switch inputs on your TV whenever you want to watch.
Set up the TV guide (EPG)
Mirroring shows whatever the player on your phone or PC displays, including its TV guide.
Common Roku errors and fixes
- Mirroring lags or drops
- Mirroring depends on Wi-Fi quality. A streaming stick connected directly to the TV gives a far smoother picture.
